We need 20 volunteers on Each day for FOOD PREP: These days from 10am to 4pm, at the church kitchen, Center of Hope. -SATURDAY, FEB. 17TH, We need 30 volunteers for FOOD PREP, from 10am to 4pm at the church kitchen. -SUNDAY NO VOLUNTEERS SCHEDULED, FEB. 18TH, The church will be having services all that day. DAY-OF-EVENT: -MONDAY, FEB. 19TH, need up to 200 volunteers, from 7am to 7pm, at church location. MEALS ASSEMBLY, MEALS PREP & DISTRIBUTION.
VOLUNTEERS CHOOSE SHIFT, A FEW HOURS, OR ALL DAY, THEN ARRIVE AT TIME OF SHIFT TO CENTER OF HOPE.
GRAB-N-GO MEAL PREP & ASSEMBLY.
DRIVERS NEEDED TO DISTRIBUTE MEALS.
7AM TO 11AM FIRST SHIFT
11AM TO 3PM SECOND SHIFT
3PM TO 7PM THIRD SHIFT
FEED 2,500 Lunches: Tuna & Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Potato Salad w/Eggs, Side Garnishes of Lettuce, Tomato & Pickle. Fresh Fruit: Bananas, Apples, Oranges. To be wrapped in parchment paper & bagged in clear plastic bags. Clear sandwich bags to wrap plastic ware/napkins. 250 Loaves mixed Bread. Water Bottles. (Food Prep Days: Feb.14, 15, 16 & 17 at church kitchen, 10-4pm, Volunteers to assist). SISTER ROSE Event Chef. DAY OF EVENT: First Lady Tonya Milton Event director from 10am-2pm. Pastor Jacobs Event Director from 2pm-7pm.------------------

Everyone is WELCOME to join us! FAMILIES, YOUTH, groups, school clubs & actively retired.
Activity is open to all able adults and Youth with parental permission and/or supervision. Volunteer release forms will be available. WE APPRECIATE YOUTH PARTICIPATION WITH WRITTEN PARENTAL PERMISSION AND/OR SUPERVISION. There is no age restriction other than very young children, who would be unable to participate as volunteers. Consider safety for yourself and those you care for. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring your own water or soft-drink.
Those who choose to, will distribute meals in Downtown LA Skid Row, West LA, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Long Beach & County Wide locations. FEED LA COUNTY, a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit humanitarian charity, founded in 2002 by Pastor James Jacobs, a Vietnam Veteran, provides and distributes food & hot meals by partnering with more than 98 local organizations, helps Veterans with PTSD, locate housing, job placement, education, working computers, hygiene supplies and referrals for mental health and drug treatment services.
