CAP offers a tremendous program for youth from 12-21 years old. Building the young leaders of tomorrow, promoting aviation and aerospace, encouraging STEM participation. Our highest cadet achievements help youth with college entrance, scholarships and are highly regarded on resume's.
Our squadron cadet membership has grown tremendously, we can use more adult leaders to help run the squadron. Just about any background can be of use if you want to help out.
If you are good with spreadsheets or attention to detail, we could use people to make sure we are ordering our cadet materials in a timely manner, tracking attendance or cadet promotion progress etc.
If you like teaching or working with youth we always need people willing to learn our program and then be available to help the cadets learn.
Finance - We can use someone who likes to oversee our squadron funds and make sure members are reimbursed when needed.
Donations, fundraising and grants - Good with reaching out to other organizations for donations or other support?
Recruiting - Reaching out to attract quality youth and adults, expanding the area we serve.
