Mandala on the Mountain is a week long summer camp for kids ages 9-18. Campers come from a variety of traditions and have different levels of familiarity with Buddhism but are willing to try it out. The kids enjoy traditional camp activities like swimming, crafts, sports, pillow fights and a campfire, while learning values of caring for things and people, taking only what you need, and working in community.


Would you like to use your website design skills to help us make our website easier to navigate and allow us to present content in a way that better meets the needs of our users? If so, we have a dedicated team of staff and members standing by ready to work with you.

If you have professional-level training and experience in website design and usability, project planning experience, and familiarity with Wordpress and current website technologies, we would love to talk to you and put your skills to work. The project is ready to start now. Work can be done off-site although some onsite interaction with stakeholders will be required.

Dharma Rain Zen Center is the oldest and largest Soto Zen Buddhist temple in Oregon, founded in 1975. Our focus is on teaching the principles of compassion and mindfulness in daily life for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. We offer daily meditation; workshops, classes and retreats; children’s programs; and a statewide prison outreach program. Dharma Rain Zen Center’s website gets over 37,000 visits annually.
