Maple Sugar Festival & Pancake Breakfast at Hale Farm & Village celebrates the sweet return of spring! Join us for the weekends of March 9 & 10 and March 16 & 17, 2024. Guests may enjoy a pancake breakfast at our Gatehouse Visitor Center, and explore the maple sugar bush, farm, and village. Pioneer sugar camp, tree tapping, turning sap into syrup at C. O. Hale's original Sugar House, early American crafts & trades, and 19th-century daily life provide a living view into our region's past.
Volunteers are needed for the following: kitchen support, dining room maintenance, guest orientation, and assisting education staff in historic sites.
Full-day (9 am to 4 pm) or half-day (9 am to 12:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm) shifts are available on the dates below:
