Direct Care Volunteers serve as an additional support to patients and families dealing with a terminal illness. Support is provided in a variety of ways, including the provision of companionship and socialization to patients, offering respite to stressed caregivers, and providing tuck-in calls to make sure all patients needs are met ahead of the weekend. While being a Direct Care Volunteer is invaluable to our patients, it is an honorable and enriching experience for volunteers.
In order to ensure the safety of our patients and volunteers, a COVID-19 assessment will be completed before each visit in the form of a questionnaire for both the volunteer and the patient.

- There are no time commitments or requirements. Volunteering is based on the time you are able and willing to offer.
- Must have access to your own vehicle. Volunteers cannot be driven to a patients house by someone else as it breaks HIPPA regulations.
