Hospice volunteers provide comfort and companionship for the patient and family or caregiver relief if the patient resides at home or help in the hospice office. They do not provide any medical care. The volunteer chooses how much time they have to give per month and how many patients they want to see. It could be anywhere from 2 hours a month to volunteer's choice.
