"Serving Our Community, Children and Planet"

So What Else is looking for a few committed volunteers to come out and help during the afternoon with Character Education on Thursdays from 3:00 PM- 5:00 PM.

The Character Education Program is based on the 11 Principles of Character Education. The first principle is for our program to operate based on a strong foundation of core values and principles and this program is guided by the So What Else 10 Pillars, each pillar thoughtfully woven into our daily programs.

This curriculum promotes core values that are ethics and performance based which will lead students to become responsible and caring citizens who contribute to their communities. This program includes activities that help create caring communities, allow students to explore social-emotional learning, reinforce positive youth development, and give the students opportunities to participate in service learning.

Overall, we aim to create a program that provides a safe and positive learning and playing environment in which students can feel supported and appreciated as we guide them towards becoming capable individuals and outstanding citizens.

As a volunteer you will be helping to set up for classes, interacting with youth during programming as well as helping the program staff clean up once the class come to a close.

If you are interested in helping our youth out, looking for a resume builder, or need to get credit hours for a class please sign up for more information.
