So What Else is looking for a few committed volunteers to come out and help during the afternoon with sports programming.
So What Else's Sports and Recreation program is designed to promote healthy activity and exercise in youth. This program provides access to fun fitness activities. It keeps the students motivated and engaged in physical activity for at least 60 minutes per session. The format is set up as a series of team games, challenges and individual events. Fitness time is followed by a nutritious snack with tips on how to live a healthier life through your diet. Throughout this course, instructors explore nutrition and healthy living and other issues related to holistic wellness. Integrity and positivity are encouraged and rewarded throughout the class periods.
As a volunteer you will be helping to set up for classes, interacting with youth during programming as well as helping the program staff clean up once the class come to a close.
If you are interested in helping our youth out, looking for a resume builder, or need to get credit hours for a class please sign up for more information.
