We are in need of an experienced Grant Writer to secure our non-profit with funding to support our women and girls programs.
Responsibilities:
- Research prospective local & regional grant-makers, including charitable giving history, and grant guidelines.
- Draft grant proposals, LOIs and additional materials.
- Writing proposals and impact reports,
- Help brainstorm creative and strategic ways to connect our mission to a foundation's priorities.
- Create and maintain a grant calendar to track proposals and report deadlines.
- Attend donor visits where appropriate to share mission moments.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a grant writer, with a track record of successful grant submissions.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively maintain the security of sensitive and confidential information.

Description
Our service delivery model is executed through three programs:
- Girls Empowerment Zone (ages 7-17)
- College Women Initiative (1st Generation College Women, ages 17-22)
- Women’s Empowerment Work (ageless)
Through our programs, we help women and girls gain confidence, build life skills, and achieve personal and professional success.
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to join our team and help us make a meaningful impact. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the organization based on their skills and interests, and to be part of a supportive, dynamic community.
