About

So What Else is looking for a few committed volunteers to come out and help on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 pm- 5:30 pm starting April 5th, 2018.

Green Path Academy is a mix of outdoor education, research, and environmental learning. Green Path Academy inspires and motivates students to become socially and environmental conscious beings. Through hands on, applicable activities, students are able to learn about environmental issues taking place in our world today and how these issues affect their lives and futures.

Green Path Academy classes are designed to teach students the importance of living sustainably and how they can accomplish this on both an individual and group level. This program introduces participants to a multitude of environmental topics, including recycling , composting, climate change, global conversation efforts, animal welfare, growing your own food and sustainable diets. Students will gain a heightened connection with nature, empowering them to make sustainable change in their own lives and in their communities.

As a volunteer you will be helping to set up for classes, interacting with youth during programming as well as helping the program staff clean up once the class come to a close.

If you are interested in helping our youth out, looking for a resume builder, or need to get credit hours for a class please sign up for more information.
