You would start with some updates and maintenance of the existing websites to get familiar with our platform (www.museumwnf.org) and then be in charge of developing a new online museum focusing on glass art: www.discoverglassart.org will - in all senses - be very similar to the already existing online museum www.discovercarpetart.org.
You would be working in cooperation with a web designer (or, if you prefer, take care also of the design) and with our database manager. If you are interested in getting involved in Museum With No Frontiers, I would send you further details about the proposed project and relevant database diagrams.
Timing is flexible and we could adapt to your possibilities. Ideally, "Discover Glass Art" should be ready in May (hidden access) and then be launched online towards the end of the year.

Description
Museum With No Frontiers (MWNF) was founded in 1994. Since the beginning, the idea was to overcome any kind of conventional 'border' and to create an exhibition space where well-known and unknown, small and large, secure and insecure, rich and poor could not only coexist but would complement each other, generating mutual benefit for all concerned.
The MWNF program is built around two main activities: the MWNF Virtual Museum including different thematic sections and the MWNF travel guides, focusing on little known aspects of cultural heritage.
MWNF is an independent non-profit organization, relying mainly on volunteer resources. The legal seat is established in Vienna, Austria.
The network set up by MWNF includes public and private Partners from all around the world.
