Destination Imagination is a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students' creativity, courage and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), fine arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process. Teams may showcase their solutions at a tournament.
Our tournament is a full day experience and requires a variety of help throughout the day. Most jobs are done in two hour shifts, but opportunities to be involved for longer periods are available. Jobs include team registration, door monitors, competition site check-in, activity leaders, team room check out, souvenir sales, photographers, and more. An electronic sign up sheet will be sent to all who volunteer for the event, and vols can select the times and jobs they wish to participate in.

Destination Imagination North Dakota (CreateND) serves the state of North Dakota and collaborates with the Lakes and Prairie Region of DI Minnesota to provide educational activities, training, and tournaments for students in grades PreK through high school.

- Two or more hours. Online volunteer sign up shifts will be sent to volunteers approximately two weeks prior to tournament.
- Must complete online release forms prior to the event.
