Thinking about plans for this Spring Break? Consider an alternative spring break. Instead of working on your tan, or spending spring break at home getting bored, head off to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and gain a better understanding of yourself and your capacity for helping others. People out there need your help and you can give it. So, get out, get excited and start volunteering!
Volunteers are needed at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help in assembling food packages for over 26,000 low income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County. The food packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items. By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community.
