The annual Fleur de Lis Ball is Marillac St. Vincent Family Services' biggest fundraising event of the year, with over 700 guests! The proceeds from this event allows us to provide quality child development programs, services for youth, and community outreach for Chicago’s most vulnerable communities - something that we've been doing for 100 years! Volunteers are CRITICAL for this event and we need you!
When (2 shifts available):
- Saturday, February 24 th (Morning of event) - 9:30a.m. - 12:30p.m. (4-6 volunteers needed)
- Saturday, February 24 th (Night of event) - 3:30pm - Midnight (50 volunteers needed)
Where:
- Volunteers will meet at Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan Ave)
What:
- Saturday morning: Set-up; move supplies/boxes (9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
- Saturday afternoon/night: (3:30 p.m.-midnight)
- Greet and Check in guests
- Sell raffle tickets and balloons (raffle)
- Spot bidders during live auction
- Assist with silent auction
- Check out guests
- Clean up
Dress Code: White/off-white button-down shirt or blouse, black pants/slacks, black skirts. Comfortable dress shoes. No sweatpants, jeans, or gym/tennis shoes, please!
No experience necessary - we will train you! This is a FUN event and volunteers will receive a meal as a token of our gratitude! This event is perfect for people who like to interact with guests and have a good time while helping a GREAT cause! If this is you, then become our volunteer!

Description
Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been working to end the cycle of poverty and violence in the city of Chicago for over 100 years. Sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, we provide quality child care, early childhood education, after-school programs, support for pregnant teens, comprehensive services for isolated seniors, and outreach to at-risk families and individuals.
