Do you enjoy teaching Basketball skills and strategies? Become a Volunteer for Special Olympics Basketball! Volunteers should have an understanding of Basketball that prepares them to teach others, but you do not need to be an expert at the sport.
Volunteers need to be:
- patient
- enthusiastic
- understanding
- compassionate
- must enjoy teaching
- have a willingness to make a difference in someone's life!
We have two Skills Groups--a Men's Skill group and Women's Skill group. The Men's Skill group practices on Mondays from 5:00-6:00 pm and the Women's Skill group practices on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm. You can help with one, or the other, or both!
