CCRx's Swap Circle for Teachers gets donations of supplies and gives them away to Chicago teachers.

Volunteers will help us accept and organize donations from Monday August 20 - Thursday August 23 from 9am - 5pm.

Then on Friday August 24 and Saturday August 25, we will help Chicago teachers "shop for free" from all the items!

We are anticipating donations ranging from office supplies to science lab equipment, athletic equipment and art materials. And who knows what else~! It is a treasure hunt that is fun and full of surprises.

Last Swap, 500 teachers were able to find materials to help in their classroom and 75 businesses found homes for things that they no longer needed but were too good to toss. We even got 120 Marching Band uniforms!

The Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that offers materials, programs and resources to Chicago’s educational, non-profit and artistic communities. We believe it is essential to provide Chicago’s teachers with inexpensive, interesting, and useful materials, and to empower and inspire Chicago’s youth to be inventive and creative with materials at hand. Our mission is to foster creativity and connection through redistributing and reimagining surplus.
