Volunteer to Become a Long Term Care Ombudsman Resident Advocate
Volunteer Ombudsmen set their own schedule to visit nursing and assisted living facility residents and advocate for their rights. As needed, they work with staff, family members and others to resolve residents’ concerns.
To qualify you must be 18 years old, complete four once weekly free local training classes, serve an internship and agree to serve at least two hours per week in a local facility for minimum of 1 year. No experience is required.
We'll work with your schedule.
