As a wear blue volunteer, you will serve as a living memorial to our fallen service members by lining a mile of the race with American flags, bearing the names of these brave men and women. Faces of the Fallen tribute posters will be placed in chronological order according to date of death on the wear blue Mile, on the left side of the course. Race day will be a chance for all Rock'n’Roll DC Marathon and Half-Marathon runners to pause, honor, remember, and be inspired.
Because of your commitment, we ensure that each of America’s fallen military is honored and remembered, and that their families, friends, and fellow military can take meaningful, life affirming steps forward. Thank you for being an active part of the wear blue community.
