Mission Statement

Transforming the lives of vulnerable women and their families in God's way

Description

Sustain Micro Enterprise is a non profit organization empowering vulnerable women and families to fight poverty. The vulnerable women include widows, HIV infected women, single mother & grandmother and women living in extreme poverty.

We empower women through microfinance, business skills training, mentorship, micro enterprise development and vocational skills support. We also run additional projects such as Give a Goat, hygiene and sanitation which all are geared towards transforming the lives of women and their families.

Our programs aim at helping the vulnerable women to set up small businesses and livelihoods which they can rely on to provide for their families. Once the women have acquire the business skills, they then receive collateral free small loans to start up businesses. With the profits from the small businesses, the women are able to provide for their children with food, school fees, medical care and other basic needs.
