Help Prepare Taxes for Seniors: We are looking for individuals willing to help low-income seniors in Adams County prepare and file their state and federal tax returns. The volunteer will receive training from the County Tax Treasurer's office before they start. You negotiate your schedule with the Tax Office. Contact us for information. The mission of The Senior Hub is to advance the quality of life for older adults through advocacy, community partnerships, and a variety of direct services planned to sustain an independent, healthy aging experience.
Description
The Senior Hub's programs are designed to engage older Americans in meaningful volunteer activities in their local communities, and to provide services which will allow them to remain independently in their homes for as long as possible.
Senior Hub's RSVP - SHOUT (Senior Hub Outreach) helps people to find service opportunities in their own communities that match their personal interests and utilize their skills and lifelong experiences. Volunteers schedules are flexible and hours range from 2-20 hours a week.
