About Everyday Boston

Location:

37 Raymond Ave, Somerville, MA 02144, US

Mission Statement

Everyday Boston is dedicated to increasing curiosity in connection across a divided city, primarily through the sharing of stories.

Description

Everyday Boston is a grassroots, community building organization. In a city that is often divided street by street, and neighborhood by neighborhood, we are working to break down the stereotypes that keep us separate, primarily through the sharing of stories. We teach Bostonians how to interview, so they can listen to the stories of their neighbors and then share them on our website. We organize events that bring people across the city together to share their life experiences. And we run youth workshops that broaden the worldview of young people by teaching them how to interview and empathize with others in their city.
