Help prevent the spread of invasive blackberry to the nearby Black River Unit of the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area, which protects one of the largest mostly undisturbed freshwater wetland systems in all of the Puget Sound and includes habitat for spawning salmon and trout and nearly 150 migratory birds.
Blackberry damages native habitats and threatens Washington ecosystems. Volunteer to protect your wetlands! Tools will be provided, and we will also have hot coffee and desserts!
