What better way to start off the New Year than by giving back to our community and serving the watershed we all benefit from? You can start 2018 off right by joining us for a Day of Service in honor of Martin Luther King JR and his dedication to building a greater America. We will be collaborating with Portland Parks and Recreation, Friends of Errol Heights, and other groups for a restoration event.
WHAT: Planting 250 bare root native plants near the wetland
Volunteers should come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun! We will provide hot drinks, gloves, tools, and guidance.
WHERE: Errol Heights Park. Meet near SE 52nd and Tenino Ct. Street parking available.
TriMet: The 71 and 75 both bring you within a half mile to the park.
WHEN: Saturday January 20th, 8:45am-12pm
RSVP for your group, or yourself by emailing courtney@jcwc.org. We look forward to seeing you out there!
