It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

Do you love kids? Do you love teaching? Do you occasionally have spare time on Saturdays or Sundays or during the week? Have we got a GREAT volunteer opportunity for you?

We are ChangingFootprints.org, an Indianapolis area non-profit. We collect, sort, and redistribute 45,000 pairs of used shoes every year to over 60 organizations like Wheeler Mission, Dress For Success, and IPS.

We have school groups, Scouting groups, sports teams, disabled youth, and every other group of kids you can think of that want to come to help us pair up the shoes and put them in boxes by type. It's easy, active, and rewarding. The kids laugh at the shoes they see and enjoy understanding who will benefit from their efforts. And 80% of the shoes stay local - within 20 miles of where they are standing.

If you love to teach, to lead, to inspire, then these two hour sorting sessions will pump you up. We'll show you what to do (it's really easy) and because we are 100% volunteer ourselves (no paid staff), we understand that you have a life and can only help out when it fits your schedule. We work the same way.

p.s. we also need volunteers who like to work with adults - companies for days of service.
