Members of the public are invited to attend the Fair and meet representatives of area non-profit arts organizations who are seeking volunteers. Participating organizations include: Dance on the Lawn, Jazz House Kids, Luna Stage, Montclair Art Museum, Montclair Film, Montclair Literary Festival, Montclair Make Music Day, The Montclair Orchestra, Opera Theatre of Montclair, Outpost in the Burbs, Studio Montclair, Studio Playhouse, and Vanguard Theater Company.
"We have been lucky enough to have talented and dedicated volunteers from the start. So, we decided to host an event where anyone who is interested in volunteering can meet with local arts organizations in person," said Montclair Film Board Vice President, Community Relations, Sarah Barrack. "We hope that those interested in serving the community will find opportunities that inspire them and that we can create a rich network of service for Montclair’s thriving arts organizations."
The Arts Volunteer Fair is open to the public. It is free for participants and organizations.
