ORGANIZATION: Keep North Charleston Beautiful

KNCB is looking for a volunteer who loves to sew who can create plant covers for four planters. We have four small planters that are sensitive to freezing temperatures, and we would like to have four covers that our volunteers can easily use to cover the plants when it gets too cold.

We currently have four blankets and tablecloths that we are currently tying to the planters to keep them on (we can send photos if you are interested in this opportunity) but would like to add elastic in a shower-cap style so they can be easily covered and removed. We are hoping to use the existing material to make the covers and can provide other material (thread, elastic) if needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone with sewing experience that you can do from home and return to our office once completed.
