ORGANIZATION: PhysioCare Hospice

PhysioCare Hospice is looking for a volunteer for a hospice patient. The patient is extremely friendly and lives at home, but doesn’t have any care givers to assist with some basic tasks around his home. Volunteer should be willing to cook, do some basic housekeeping, and friendly visiting duties with someone at the end stages of their life.

This is a high priority volunteer opportunity!

Volunteer with Physiocare today!

Volunteer duties include:

  • Assisting the clients with fun activities
  • Listening and conversing with the client
  • Speaking with the family of the client
  • Recording any changes in the client’s condition

We offer caregivers some relief and peace of mind, knowing our skilled staff are providing their loved ones with the best quality of life each day. Bereavement groups are offered to caregivers and family members who need help dealing with grief over the death of their loved one. We offer volunteer services for patients and caregivers who need an extra hand with help around the house and companionship.

Physiocare Hospice is locally owned and is committed to serving our communities here in central Indiana. We give to and participate in many local events, service projects and fundraisers that benefit many great charitable organizations.

Quick Patient Admissions:

Time is of the essence when your terminally ill loved one is ready for hospice. We make it a priority to meet with patients and caregivers the same day or at their earliest convenience to evaluate and admit the patient.

Continuous Care:

Toward the final moments of life patients require more vigilance. We offer continuous care for patients and caregivers who need more attention during these final hours.
