AseraCare hospice is in need of volunteers for geriatric patients within the Lehigh Valley and Northampton counties. Our volunteers are a crucial part of providing excellent care at the end of life for people. They provide companionship, administrative assistance, activities for residents of assisted living and skilled nursing homes, etc.
The schedule is flexible and can be made to fit anyone's availability. The volunteers work closely with the volunteer coordinator to make sure their needs, as well as the needs of the patient, are met.

When a diagnosis is "terminal", the most often asked question is, "how much time do I have?"While the answer is not the same for everyone, hospice helps to make the most of the time left by providing support, comfort, and compassion to patients and their families. AseraCare provides valuable medical care as well as emotional and spiritual support. We also assist patients and their families with end of life decisions so that the are prepared for a loved one passing.
