Join with other community minded people to help out a local Soup Kitchen by freshening their walls with a new coat of paint! We will gather at 10:00am to begin painting the entryway and hall and landing at Mother Mariann's Soup Kitchen. Paint and all equipment will be provided. Wear/bring your "Paint Clothes" and shoes that won't mind a few spatters! Many hands make light the load! The activity will only take a few hours. Pizza lunch, beverages and snacks provided. This amazing organization provides over 200 meals each weekend for free to individuals and families in need. Let's rally together for a few hours and offer to help with a much needed task.

To address the rising issue of hunger in Rome, NY, Mohawk Valley Community College is launching a volunteer project that will help cut back hunger in Rome and provide individuals with a fufilling community work experience.
