The R.O.S.E. Foundation strives to build a sisterhood of young girls that will blossom into active contributors to society. Our program uses volunteers to support, guide, and be a role model to young girls in need of personal and professional development.

On March 10, 2018, we are collaborating with Operation G.L.A.M. to host our 2nd annual Prom Pop-Up Shop where girls in need can have a full shopping experience without the financial obligation. It is our hope that you will consider helping our participants attend prom in style. We are seeking nail techs, make-up artists, hair stylists, and "glam" associates to assist girls on the day of the event.

Last year, we provided services for up to 30 girls. In 2018, our goal is to reach out to 50 girls in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area!

To sign up, please go to operationglam.squarespace.com.

Please feel free to share this great volunteer opportunity.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Nail techs, make-up artists, and hair stylists do not have to attend the event (although it is encouraged). You will be paired with your girls and they will book an appointment through you.

Mission Statement

The R.O.S.E. Foundation is a nonprofit organization striving to build a sisterhood of young girls who will blossom into active contributors to society.

Description

The R.O.S.E. Foundation is committeed to helping girls from the ages of 11-18 in the D/FW area and provide them with a mentoring program that will promote strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and a sense of hope for the future.

There is a need for personal and professional development for young girls within our inner cities. Before leaders can lead, they should be empowered to find their own personal strengths and use that knowledge to influence others in a positive way. Our services are designed to focus on fostering the development of well-rounded leaders.

We will maximize the potential of at-risk girls by exposing them to essential elements of positive personal development. We will address their potential growth as a holistic entity consisting of various pillars that interact as a sum. These pillars include professional development, educational attainment, community engagement, and self-affirmation.
