Would you like to help the dogs & cats of FUPI? Maybe you don't have a consistent schedule and need a volunteer position that allows you to make your own schedule.
If that is the case, consider helping FUPI's cats & dogs by becoming our
Your duties would include:
· Respond to people who have items to donate via phone, email, text, or in person
· Collect and organize all nonmonetary gifts & donations
· Receive texts & emails from designated volunteers regarding donations at adoption centers
· Inform FUPI’s Dog & Cat Fosters of donations and location for pick up
· Deliver donated supplies to our 3 Petsmart Cat Adoption Centers or storgae unit, if needed
Requirements:
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 20lbs
· Three month commitment
· Reliable vehicle
· Valid Drivers License
· Proactively and consistently demonstrate friendly, engaging demeanor and dialogue with donors, volunteers, staff, board members, visitors, etc.
· Self-motivated, structured, well organized, detail oriented, and able to effectively work independently and in a team
· Need to be able to text & email pictures of donations
· Must live in Las Vegas, NV

Mission Statement
Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue of domesticated animals that have been abused and/or abandoned by their owners as a result of economic hardship, including home foreclosure, loss of employment, insufficient income, or death and illness. FUPI will work to further the cause of animal control through the education of the general public about the humane benefits of spay and neuter programs. FUPI will take on a leadership role in developing strategies and creating coalitions with other animal rescue organizations in order to better serve the residential and commercial sectors of the community in the fight against animal cruelty
Description
Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a dog and cat rescue located in Las Vegas. We were founded in 2008 during the height of the housing crisis, when people were walking away from their homes and their animals. We still get animals from that arena, but also take in owner surrenders, and strays from the street. All animals are checked by our vets, giving all necessary shots, spayed or neutered if needed, and microchipped.
