- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
The Point in Time Count is a national survey of the homeless population that is taken in January every year. The results of this survey play a crucial role in getting funding for programs that help the homeless. We need volunteers who are willing to go out to homeless encampments to help us count and administer the surveys.
Volunteers will meet at Life Church 360 in Arlington (Smokey Point), and from there will be sent out to one of the following areas: Arlington, Stanwood, Marysville, Lake Stevens, or Granite Falls. You will be trained in how to conduct the surveys, and given a map of known homeless encampments when you arrive for your shift.
Shifts are in 4 hour increments from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, and you may sign up for multiple shifts. To sign up, please fill out the online application form on the Housing Hope website. https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1623075720
