The Role:Reports to the Vice President - Research & Engineering and is responsible for enhancing executive's effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others.
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and Administrative Assistants are expected to put in a minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
What you will be responsible for.....
- Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Complete the PWR at least on weekly minimum basis
- Assist the Vice Presidents(s) with tasks including, but not limited to:
- Maintaining Google Drive organization and structure
- Managing shared calendar and events
- Filtering inboxes for all STW general emails, delegating or responding to emails
- Preparing and editing correspondence, documents, and presentations
- Attending meetings & taking meeting minutes
- Conducting research
- Writing letters of recommendation
- Sending e-cards

- Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
