  • 40 people are interested

The Urban Outreach Center serves 27,000 Outreach guests per year. 60% of those clients are Men, 40% are Women. Out of all our guests, 15% are also Senior Citizens. With an added 18% who come for clothing, books and toys for their children. At our weekly Tuesday Night Dinner, we served over 6,500 clients last year. Also, we created a new worship service known as, Sunday Dinner Party, which serves over 30 guests each week. Here at the Urban Outreach Center, we distributed 12,232 lbs. of food to our monthly food pantry guests, and also a weekly pantry for our clients who are street homeless. In 2016, it has been calculated that 5,454 hours were provided through our volunteers. How can you best contribute to the Urban Outreach Center’s work of serving New York City’s most vulnerable populations? Your time!! If you have a free hour or a time you come each week, donate your time and talents. Fold clothes, work in the food pantry, and provide a warm welcome to those who are being served, or assist us with preparing our weekly dinners.
