This position is responsible for driving a 16 ton reefer truck (no CDL required) and working with a driver’s helper to collect food donations from several grocery stores. Unloading, weighing, recording, and placing donations in appropriate storage facility (i.e.: freezer, cooler or dry storage area) at the Meridian Food Bank. We pick up donations Monday-Saturday mornings. The Driver will be assigned a day of the week.
Route takes 3-4 hours
No experience necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- At least 18 years old
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent driver’s record
- Copy of driver’s license and car insurance

The Meridian Food Bank is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing emergency food aid to our neighbors in need. Our goal is to help anyone who is hungry and asks us for assistance; our ability to help is determined by the amount of food and money donated to us.
