MOBILE AND BALDWIN COUNTY>>>Looking for active/former military personnel to volunteer and offer companionship visits with hospice patients who are veterans. Patient companions allow caregivers a much needed break from their daily routine of caring for their terminally ill loved one. As a veteran companion volunteer you can sit with the patient and provide socialization, read or encourage the patient to talk about their time in the military. In addition to regular daytime hours, families can use support during evenings and weekends. We are looking for Patient Companions for Veterans in the Baldwin County and Mobile County areas. For more information, contact Kim Smith at 391-0846 or ksmith@springhillhomecare.com
