Dog socializers interact one-on-one with dogs to ensure that their time at the Shelter is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Dog socializers engage the dogs with games, puzzles, and toys. They also work on basic obedience, leash training, etc to make the dogs more adoptable. Dogs housed at the Shelter need socializing for bonding, exercise, companionship, and reducing stress. Volunteers socialize only those animals available for adoption. Time commitment for socialization is based on the volunteer's schedule, although they will follow a certain time frame. Training is provided by staff. Bark Busters agree to follow guidelines in Staff handbook as well as any training provided by staff or trainers appointed by management.

The mission of the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Bradley County is to provide humane enforcement and sheltering for companion animals, while providing compassionate animal control services, under the No Kill Equation model.
Description
SPCA of Bradley County TN is a no kill animal rescue group that takes in animals and finds them furever homes! Volunteers are an essential piece of the puzzle when it comes to the daily operations and care of the animals. Volunteers are needed on everything from office help to fostering to poo patrol!
