Flexible training and volunteer hours!! Come join Heartland Hospice Team!!

Come and join this amazing origination. We are looking for volunteers who want to give there heart to our patients. We are looking for volunteers that are looking to give back. Our patients here at heartland are receiving comfort care and support. Just sitting by the bed side and holding there hand is all that is needed. A conversation or support for the caregivers. Please contact us if you are looking for and opportunity like this.

* Volunteer and pet complete the required training, screening/ certification program
* up to date immunization records of pet, this is updated annually
* 14 hour core training and orientation
* In-services

Description

Many trained professionals can administer medicines. However, we also administer compassion and companionship. We combine state-of-the-art technologies with holistic care principles. This includes disease and symptom management, client/family education, and a multi-dimensional approach to physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care. Our multi-disciplinary team members are highly traing and caring professionals focused towards each client's unique needs, life goals, and priorities towards the end of life. Our services feature: pain and symptom management, psychosocial support and counseling, advance care planning, client and family education, and care management.

Hospice programs are designed to offer support, care and comfort to terminally ill patients in the final stages of life as well as their families.
