Looking for someone to served as Treasurer and join board of small non-profit

Looking for person with financial background (CPA, Banking, book keeping) to join the board of the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary, a 501C-3 organization. Duties will include but not be limited to

Weekly reconciliation of giftshop revenues and miscellaneous deposits, prepare bank deposits and take to bank.

Meeting with bookkeeper at least once per week to resolve any questions / issues regarding Income and expenses

Review and reconcile monthly bank statements and QuickBooks

Chair quarterly Financial Committee meetings

Prepare regulatory and tax filing such as quarterly tax documents, 1099, and quarterly surveys

Act as banking administrator, overseeing debit card issuance and usage

Chair annual budget meetings and prepare budgets for board review

Attend monthly board meeting

Other duties assigned

Mission Statement

To bring together people with an interest in the conservation and protection of prehistoric resources, specifically, the heritage of Arizona prehistory and that of the Salt River Valley; to assist Pueblo Grande Museum and staff in dispersing educational materials; to provide lectures and tour guides; to assist in the preparation of exhibits, library catloguing and management, curatorial and conservation techniques, records management and research; and to organize, publicize and promote activities, events and fundraising for Pueblo Grande Museum programs. The organization also seeks and encourages participation of Native American Indians in all of its activities.

Description

The Auxiliary is a support arm of the Pueblo Grande Museum providing volunteers and funds for special projects.
