ORGANIZATION: Residential Hospice

  • 23 people are interested

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, Residential Hospice provides each family with a Memorial Quilt Square in honor of their deceased loved one. We also provide Military Service squares for our Veterans. We are looking for individuals willing to come into our Troy office during weekday work hours (flexible times) and help with this project. Our quilt squares are prepared using a piecing technique by some of our dedicated quilters and we need help with personalizing each square with each loved ones name using an on-site embroidery sewing machine. This only requires a few hours of your time and makes a meaningful impact on the families of our patients. Volunteer orientation will be provided and sewing may be done at home if you have your own machine with embroidery ability. Quilt square supplies are provided by us, we just need your time and talent!

Disclaimer: We are sorry, but we cannot accept any court ordered community service.
