We are currently looking to build a strong emergency disaster relief volunteer team in the San Antonio area. Are you interested in becoming an EMERGENCY DISASTER RELIEF VOLUNTEER? If so please attend our Emergency Disaster course taking place Feb. 9th and 10th. Class participants can now register for this class online by visiting www.disaster.salvationarmyusa.org and visiting the UPCOMING CLASSES page on our website ( http://disaster.salvationarmyusa.org/training/?classes)

Friday, February 9, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pmServe Safe Any time our Canteen goes out we are to follow all Health Department Rules. One Health Department Rule is that each Canteen is to have at least 1 person trained in Serve Safe. This course is to teach proper food preparation and handling according to Health Department Standards.

Saturday, February 10, 8:00 am - 4:00 pmCanteen Operations This course is to train how to safely operate all aspects of the canteen.
  • Morning and afternoon break will be provided in addition lunch will also be provided.

The Salvation Army of San Antonio aims at making the community a better place. The Salvation Army offers a wide assortment of programs including our Emergency Family Shelter, Men's Shelter, Social Services, Disaster Services, Boys and Girls Club, Senior Center and Senior Living Facilities.

The Salvation Army "Now More Than Ever," needs volunteers to assist those in our community who are in need of our help.
