We need to train community in environment conservation and take measures to curb environment degradation. Some of the activity we foresee are tree planting, control of erosion and building small dams and reservoirs to control water. The conserved water can be used for irrigation during dry season.

We are a Non Profit Community Based Organisation registered under Masaka Local Government Council CD 5421 2007 to operate in Masaka District, Uganda. RIDO works with a team of local volunteers who make it possible for external volunteers successfully accomplish their projects.In partnership with communities our current efforts are on addressing variety of development issues they have identified.
