We're a non-profit that is starting its operations in 2018 and are needing someone who can help us establish processes, get set-up in QuickBooks, and help us understand how to keep good books so that at the end of the year, we can file our financial statements and taxes as required by the IRS.
This can be a virtual opportunity as we really need someone to educate us and get us set-up, and it can be on-going depending on the individual. Ideally, our candidate will have a background with NPO accounting and what is required at the end of the year.

girls + data is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) with a mission of increasing data literacy at a younger age and providing middle school girls with hands-on learning opportunities in STEM careers in data analytics
Description
girls + data is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that teaches hands-on STEMinars in data science and analytics to middle school girls who are interested in STEM, but not necessarily computer science or software engineering ("coding"). To date girls + data has provided hands-on instruction in data science and data analytics to nearly 450 middle school girls in 13 cities at 16 events with more to come.
We know our programs are needed and working because 80% of these students have said they want to attend a second event with different topics in data science and analytics, and 80% of the students also report an increased interest in learning MORE about careers in data science and analytics as a result of attending one of our events.
