There's something about watching the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Maybe it's the ivy-covered red brick in the outfield or the wind that blows off the Lake.
It's a special place - yet it's difficult to access and tickets are expensive. Many young Cubs fans are not able to enjoy their favorite team because they don't have anyone to take them or their families are not able to afford tickets.
Buddies Through Baseball was created as a mentorship program to share the experience of going to Wrigley Field with children who don't have the opportunity.
Our one-on-one program matches a mentor with a child in grades 3-8 and they participate in two events a month during the baseball season from April through September: one tutoring session and one Cubs game.
Want to make a difference in a child's life? Love the Cubs? Let's talk!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to foster a positive relationship between a worthy child and a mentor through tutoring and attendance at Chicago Cubs baseball games. Description
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that pairs a Chicago-area child of need with a mentor who helps them with their school work and takes them to Cubs games throughout the season while serving as a positive role model in their life.
Each mentor and mentee participate in two activities a month. One is a tutoring session where the mentor helps the mentee with a subject in school and the other is a Cubs game or fun activity.
