The Student Samaritan Initiative, a proposal by The High School Association Of Medical Engineers and Scientists, Inc, wishes to combat disheartening cardiac arrest statistics in NJ.
We seek to do this in 2 ways.
1. Team up with local schools to challenge these statistics, by providing quality training to students through hands-on simulations and fun and interactive learning modules using state-of-the-art training equipment.
Our goal is to train at least one school in every New Jersey County
2. To petition the State of New Jersey to amend the NJ Assembly Bill 2072, to establish a policy where high school students must submit proof of CPR training along with their Probationary Driver's Permit application.

To do this, we need your help. We are looking for talented high school students to promote the Student Samaritan Initiative's mission in a variety of media. This includes posts on our facebook page, Instagram, Snapchat, et cetera as well as in person petitioning for volunteers in central NJ. Writing skills and social media experience are a must.
