Do you like American history? Do people compliment you on your host/hostess skills? Then come help us serve a dish of tea to a room full of history enthusiasts! The theme of this tea centers on the early years of the women's suffrage movement.
Our volunteers will:
- Serve tea and food
- Make sure guests at assigned tables have everything they need
- Clean up after the event
The event includes:
- Tea varieties appropriate to the time period
- Sandwiches and pastries
- Activities related to the theme
Potential volunteers will need to come to the DAR Museum building for an in-person interview prior to the event date.

Mission Statement
The DAR Museum looks at the American experience through objects and art of the American home from the Colonial Era to the early 20th century.
Description
The DAR Museum provides public programs for children, families, students, adults and special interest groups, such as the Girl Scouts. The DAR Museum, founded in 1890, is a decorative arts museum telling the story of early American home life with a collection of 30,000 objects dating from the 18th through early 20th century. The Museum has one annual exhibition, two galleries, and thirty-one period rooms.
