The Foothills Foundation
The Foothills Foundation, was established in 1987 to provide financial support to the Foothills Park and Recreation District via organization of various fund raising events. The District serves over 100,000 residents of South Jefferson County, Colorado. Primary fundraising events consist of a golf tourney, a 4th fo July fireworks celebration held at Clement Park and a Summerset Festival that attracts a large community audience to an event that includes music, car show, craft fair, business booths and kids activities.
We are seeking a few additional people interested in supporting the organizing of these events who are committed to the South Jeffco community by serving on the board of directors. Time commitment is limited and consists of a 1-2 hour monthly board meeting and involvement in the sponsored events.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Our goals are to provide safe and enjoyable fund raising events that bring the community together, such as the Summerset Festival and the Annual Golf Tournament; and to s upport the mission and goals of the FPRD.
