We are seeking a volunteer who LOVES babies to assist in the Baby Book Club program every Tuesday from 10 to 12. The volunteer will help the Children’s Librarian prepare for baby programming by cleaning and organizing toys and other supplies, operating audio visual equipment, and encouraging caregivers and babies to bond through reading and play. Essential skills include the ability to talk to and play with babies and their caregivers, enthusiasm and a cheerful attitude, and an ability to commit to regularly attending, though we understand that illness and emergencies may prevent you occasionally attending. Other helpful skills are sewing and singing, though neither of these is required.
