ORGANIZATION: Full Life Care

Full Life Care operates two memory care homes that each house 12 residents with dementia or a neurocognitive disorder. Memory care homes are an alternative to an assisted living facility and allow residents to remain in a neighborhood setting in a home environment. We respect the individual routines of our residents and create activities that resonate with their life experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for volunteers who can play piano or another instrument for our residents with middle to late stage Alzheimer's and/or dementia. Music can brighten our residents' day!

DATE/TIME: Our memory care homes are open every day of the week. Volunteers can come in between 9 to 11 pm or 2 to 4 pm.

Volunteers must be flexible and understanding of our residents' needs. Usually, one or two residents will come downstairs to listen to music and really enjoy it. However, we cannot guarantee that there will always be an audience.
