Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Services is seeking volunteers to help at our reception desk. Volunteers will be responsible for answering phones, transferring calls, and greeting clients. Other basic office duties can be assigned if volunteers are interested. We primarily require receptionist help on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9am and 5pm, though scheduling is very flexible. Our clients come from all over the world, so volunteers must be prepared to be patient and understanding when assisting clients with language barriers. Bilingual volunteers are especially encouraged to apply. The most common languages spoken by our clients are Arabic, Spanish, Nepali, and French.
